My mother wanted my opinion on the paint she chosen and I said it looked “Boring” She got mad at me because these were “Earth Colours” and apparently I have to like them.
If I don’t exactly believe in the EXACT things as her, she’ll get mad.
If she thinks Im lying, im lying. No matter what I say, she talks about how I will go to You-know-where. So I have to LIE to avoid getting into trouble.
she wants me to ask her which dress looks prettier. I tell her to pick what she wants. She wants a real anwser. She gets mad when I don’t like something Purple (Her Fovourite Colour)
and goes into a lecture about how it symbolises royalty.
If I say I don’t like her Gospel music, she takes it like I hate God.
How can I tell my mother to stop being mad at me when I have opinions different from her.

I’m doing a project about the picture of dorian gray. i want to make several pictures that are like his transformation over time. i want to make the pictures look like they are painted, and i need to draw them. im thinking of maybe tracting computer printouts and coloring them, then putting something over it to make it look painted. any suggestions?

what idea’s do you have on ageing? What could i do and how could i present it in my book, what media’s to use?

one of my ideas is drawing a young girl hugging an old lady, i painted the young girl in colour but i painted the old lady in black and white, but her eyes were still blue. i did this because i think it gives out a meaning, so what ideas do you have like this one that would boost my grade?

well, there was gum stuck on my wooden table. and i used nail polish remover to take it off. and it did, but the part i scrubbed on the wood. it lost its color. now it looks like white bleach marks on the table. i dont know what to do… i doubt paint would work. but idk how to immitate the oak looking marks on the table. like the brown streaks..
my moms going to kill mee….

Is there any quick way to make a sturdy repair on a large hole in my drywall within a short time? We’ve got some tools. the right color paint , but no drywall left… Also im wondering if it would be btter to just have someone do it for me or try to do it myself.

Yes Yes! I know you guys are probably laughing at me or think I’m stupid. I’ve only digitally colored 3 times in my entire life and they all suck!

And I can’t really help but to ask how ppl are coloring REALLY good. I mean one thing is that I dunno how to use layers, combine colors, or shade properly. All I did was fill, and blur…..I was using MangaStudioEX DEMO and Paint.NET now I’m trying a trial verison of Photoshop. please help me here. If you can… any help…

I got badly hurt at work 5 days ago. Well, not BADLY. But bad enough. I was closing a garage door. Of course some garage doors are different than others, and this was an older style. It was a manually operational one as well. I was pulling it down from the outside, and held on to the space/crease between two pieces (it is split into chunks I guess - like this one: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:G… and it closed right on my fingertips. I almost threw up from the immediate pain, especially because it was 20 degrees out today, and I had been outside for about a half hour already. They were bleeding profusely, but only under the nails. I have managed to stop the bleeding on all of my fingers except my two ring fingers. They are both completely screwed. My right hand’s looks like I painted maroon-colored nail polish on it, and the other one’s nail is very obviously coming off. That’s the problem nail. I went to the doc and he told me that it will most likely just come off on its own. So I ignored it for the first couple of days, but since it was leaking clear fluid a bit every day, I “investigated”. I lifted the nail (since it’s already coming off) - not OFF my finger, but just up a bit to see how badly it was coming off, and to see if there was anything weird. I put my face very close in order to get a good view. Instead, I was greeted with a horrible smell. The smell is indescribable, but VERY bad. It’s only when I lift the nail, but this is making me think it’s infected. I plan on calling the doc again first thing Monday, but I am worried. Am I gonna like die between now and then? Is this a serious infection? Is there anything I can do to temporarily treat it, or at least stabilize it? Home remedies? I just need some advice. Thanks.

Ok been a while since I’ve been on here, I have a Dell studio and its my little baby, I take it every where with me to do discos because I’m a DJ and for 2 years no problems, the other day I did updates and it played up when I was working in a chat room, I’m an operator too, before my laptop would open 50 maybe more cams, but now its only 15 cams and then I get lines on the cams including mine, I close the last cam I opened and its ok, I left to restore my laptop but it still does the same thing, could there just be a simple problem on here like dust on my graphics card, I cleaned my keys today with a small paint brush lots of dust came out, also if I go into webcam central it says I have no cam and desktop goes blue and funny colours and something about resolution in big letters, if someone could please help I would be really happy as we (Me and my laptop) have lots of work to do.
