what color should I paint my 4 yr old sons room and 2 yr old daughters room…need ideas. i wanted to do pink in my daughters but her toy box which has a shelf on top and stands tall is pink and then i thought yellow or purple but theres some wood letter spelling her name on the wall in those colors, then i though light green but the hall is gonna be dark green right by her room…ugh im stuck on what to do!! then i thought doing each wall a different color?? pastel pink, yellow, purple, green?? oh and she has tinkerbell stuff in her room…my son has cars and thought about blue but cant decide on what shade…i dont want any colors that will make the rooms look real small you know? His fav color is orange but not sure about that on the walls? Thanks

My walls in my Room are navy Blue, and I want to paint them Red (Cranberry Zing). I don’t know how many coats of primer are necessary. If you know please answer…Thanx

i know i should paint them, they’re maroon. They go with a mediterranean look, but not very vintage indie. i’m thinking of this yellow.

I am currently renting a home from a landlord, who has recently informed me that he wants to sell it. He said that obviously they would offer it to us first. He hasn’t mentioned a price yet, but since we have lived here for 1+ years, we know all the things that are wrong and need fixed. I was wondering how much less could I ask for the house because of the following problems. (even thought most would be a quick and cheap fix)

Very few cabneits and are installed incorrectly and dont shut properly
Washer drain is backed up and floods every time you do laundry (mold is growing)
2 windows don’t have the inside seals on them
75% of the floor doesnt have the molding around it, and the part that does is chipped and cracked
The garage is cracked and leaning or something and the garage door wont shut all the way and cannot be used
There’s a hole in the living room at the base of the wall where it meets the floor
The ceiling leaks everytime it rains in one of the bedrooms
there’s NO inslation in the entire house except for the attic
The kitchen counter top has cracks and chips around the corners
Don’t even get me started on the bathroom

it does have it’s good points New windows
new cabeits (even though they’re crooked)
New appliances
new carpet
newly painted
new linolium (but it’s uneven)
Large fenced backyard

This was my childhood home for 13 years. After 10 years, I saw it was up for rent, and moved in. My old room, is now my daughters room, weird huh?! It’s a very cute house, a little over 1200 sq feet, it just needs some TLC. I know the neighbor bought his house for $125,000 which also needed repairs, but his is a lot bigger and a corner lot. (For an example of prices in our area, Kelso, Washington)

So how much do you think I should pay, or how much should I ask off of the asking price?

i want to paint my kitchen cabinets a pale color or something. my walls are cream colored. does anyone have an exact color choice from any of the top paint brands (behr, sherwin williams etc.)

I would paint the matching colors across from each other so they didn’t touch. If that sounds good to you,do you know any bed sheets and stuff that would match? As for my bathroom, I want it to match the theme of my room,but Im not sure what to do. Ideas?

i luv to paint so i want something a little more challenging than just stripes. painting a wall just one color is too boring. i want this to be a project that lasts for a couple days. post and pics of ideas or just suggest something. i need help…

Ok my baby painted turtle (Keto) has stopped eating
BEFORE he would eat fine, i would feed him by hand 2 times a day or so and he also has some plants in his tank that he could eat, he also has guppies but he can’t catch them

NOW he wont eat, and he is scared of me, he is also sunning himself a lot but when he is in the water he is usually keeps swimming at the tank walls
-the water doesn’t seem to be cold and he has a very big tank and its not dirty, the only thing he doesn’t have is a UVB light which i haven’t gotten yet could that be the problem?
Please Help

PS. I’m not going to pay $60 dollars to go see a vet, I don’t have the money, so please don’t suggest it.
He has a UVA light just not a UVB
