I am moving into a nice new house- the walls are already painted a neutral color and I don’t want to change that. My daughter (8 months) is going to have a Hello Kitty room and I want to do Dinosaurs/Jungle theme for my 2 year old son.

Does anyone have any pictures of how to set up the decals so it doesn’t look dumb?

AND

Who sells inexpensive decals/wallpaper? (I think $20.00 is too much and $5 a letter is too much- hard times, limited cash for decorating right now…)

I was thinking about painting my wall. I’m pretty sure its latex paint. There is wallpaper on the top of the wall so i started to take it off with some water and a sponge but some of the paint started to peel off? What do you think i should do?
I probably forgot to mention that the paint started to peel off the whole wall not just the wall paint under the wall paper. but yeah sounds like i do have to sand it.

Moving into a new place, the bathroom is currently white, and I mean everything is white, the floors, the counter tops, the tub, the toilet and the walls. I am looking for a color to go in there that fits a man and woman. The hardware is silver, and the shower curtain will be black and silver. What color choices would you suggest to fit both men and women and the black and silver?

I have a chocolate brown sofa and love seat and I want to decorate my new apartment without making it a brown out. The walls are white, and unfortunately I’m not allowed to paint. I have minimal funds to use for the decorations, but I was thinking of getting curtain sheer to cover the boring mini blinds, and some pictures/art to start with. But what colors go with brown??

alright, so i dont want a really outdated look, but i love the neoclassical style of paintings and the pastels mixed with dark, rich purples and blues. im going to mix that style with victorian and vintage styles..

i already have light blue walls.. it isnt ideal, but im not going to change them.. so ill just make it work.

i have some great old paintings, wood floors, i already have a victorian style bed spread, and mirror.

im thinking of getting some drapes and old world accessories, also some old world furnishings if i can.

the most important part is that i want it to look european, again, like the rooms from the movie vanity fair.

i could make neoclassical style paintings, and i would like to paint my walls in that style, with faded tea-stained color walls with neoclassical style scenery painted on the walls.. but that would probably be too expensive for me.

anyways, i would appreciate any suggestions.

Anything vintage, 1960’s… I also LOVE The Beatles. I have a couple posters, and I was wondering if I should get them framed??

3 bedrooms and entrance way, hallway but is a small hall and a kitchen and living room, the kitchen actually does not have any big wall mainly cabinets and a built in china cabinet but only want walls painted the house is 1400 sq ft…just looking for a round about estimate for if we do it ourselves or have some company do it

Today I applied a second coat to cover spots but the wall has now patches with different shades of the color making the room really ugly!
I don’t have a lot of paint left what should I do? What happened? I was thinking I didn’t mix it right but I’m pretty sure I did! Help ASAP.

It’s the exact same bottle of paint! The It wans’t finished yet. I closed it tightly overnight.

i know i should paint them, they’re maroon. They go with a mediterranean look, but not very vintage indie. i’m thinking of this yellow.
