I have a few trellises made of painted wood. I just moved into a house with vinyl siding, which I’ve never had before. How can I attach the trellises to the exterior vinyl sided wall? I don’t want to just start drilling holes only to find out I’ve caused some problem with the integrity of the siding. Thanks

NEW YORK – Hundreds of New York City public school teachers accused of offenses ranging from insubordination to sexual misconduct are being paid their full salaries to sit around all day playing Scrabble, surfing the Internet or just staring at the wall, if that’s what they want to do.
Because their union contract makes it extremely difficult to fire them, the teachers have been banished by the school system to its rubber rooms— off-campus office space where they wait months, even years, for their disciplinary hearings.
The 700 or so teachers can practice yoga, work on their novels, paint portraits of their colleagues — pretty much anything but school work. They have summer vacation just like their classroom colleagues and enjoy weekends and holidays through the school year.
You just basically sit there for eight hours, said Orlando Ramos, who spent seven months in a rubber room, officially known as a temporary reassignment center, in 2004-05. I saw several near-fights. `This is my seat.’ `I’ve been sitting here for six months.’ That sort of thing.
Ramos was an assistant principal in East Harlem when he was accused of lying at a hearing on whether to suspend a student. Ramos denied the allegation but quit before his case was resolved and took a job in California.
Because the teachers collect their full salaries of $70,000 or more, the city Department of Education estimates the practice costs the taxpayers $65 million a year. The department blames union rules.It is extremely difficult to fire a tenured teacher because of the protections afforded to them in their contract, spokeswoman Ann Forte said.

Flopping her angel wings she flew out the window and lowered her self deciding to use her human legs to run to her horse and mounted her horse, she was suppose to stay in the castle because they normally don’t like the princess getting out… expicsly after the war just ended. She wanted to check on the vampires they captured that were in the dugeon , the dugeon which was actally located in the middle of the forest where she had to pass the castle of darkness. Just thinking about it lead to Prince Demetri… deep inside her coin since she saw a lost soul trying to get out but she knew that he was truly evil. Sighing she though about her mother and thinking about her mother reminded her of his beauty, then his beauty brought her to rember what her farther had warned her. to never go near the castle…. For his beauty is how they drag innocent humans in and feed of there blood. Luckly she wasn’t a inncoint human.

Run Elizabeth! Ok father . I gave him a kiss on the cheek and ran to my room opening up the beautiful engraved doors with flowers coming up and at the bridge of the door the flowers come down. where my mother painted it a few days ago, Walking to the back of my room I opened my book case filled with mystery novels and behind a thick dark wood bookshelf it pushes open reveling a secret room that opens up. I shut the door and clicked the latch together tieing it in a knot, and then sliding the knob on the thick wood bookshelf I clicked it together and finished it of by shoving a wooden plank through it. On the other side of the bookshelf I looked at my books I had to read and admired them all…. So well written. On the right side of the latch were every Bram Stroker novel you could Imagination ,not to mention van Helsingr filled the walls. On the other side of the room was a huge mirror that moves, on the other side of the mirror was shelves filled with stocks of food because I had no idea how long I would be here. A wardrobe with beautiful gowns was on the south side of the wall, when I pushed the clothes aside buckets of water with a cup were behind it. Luckily a few days ago the maid had filled the secret room with new food and water. Sitting on the bed I grabed Dracula the movie editon and layed it on the bed hearing something I pressed my ear to the book shelf /wall.  A thunk came at the door and for a minute I thought it was Father. Then a punch came through the book shelf ! I knew what I had to do go down to the lower chambers. by moving the pink reading chair to reveal a trap door. “Princess Elizabeth I know you are there!” Demetri I whispered. Opening the trap door I jumped down. I ran to a golden mirror and hid behind it. Oh no! I thought. I looked at the red ruby carpit and saw him sniffing for any signs of life. My long red dress in poor shape a ruffle fell of and I fell silent.  “Someone’s here” he snivled. “And whoever is here I will deal with while my father deals with the queen.” He said smirking. I walked up to him. “What” !I Screamed. “Nothing much” he said slyly. “We find out where the staff of darkness is and then we kill you”. He cupped my chin in his hands. “Or maybe I could turn you and you could be a slave….” That’s it I don’t care what this vampire can do I socked him right then in there. “ Never devil of the night! “ “You human’s bore me.” “What did you just call me!” I heared the chandeler break. I’m in angel and in a miunte ill be like Buffy without the tiny little outfits and rip those damned thangs out of you’re bloody mouth I screamed.” “Buffy’s a human” he taunted.

I was in American eagle outfitters today. The type of music that was playing sound similar to bloc party’s music. I just remember it was a white dude ( the singer) with colorful hair. he had on glasses. and paint in the background… the only word i can remember from the song is somethiing about standing on the wall.. something wall.

with a semi-gloss high quality paint. Part of the wall that I painted is inside the shower area above the shower and tub. I am wondering how long do I need to let the paint dry before using the shower? It is entirely possible that water will splatter onto the wall that was just painted today. Today it was in the high 70’s with low humidity, if that helps.

I’m having trouble convincing my mother to paint my room brown, and i want to know as many pro’s as possible. (:

My bed covers are brown with dark pink/ maroon type of coloured hibiscus flowers. I also plan to paint a few small hibiscus flowers on my walls.

i am getting my kitchen painted. i would like a warm feeling to my kitchen, just got Grey type lino and German beech table chairs with a soft Grey satin feeling to the fabric. i have a wall that i would like to be painted different to the rest. can u recommend what colour’s would be nice, forest feeling in touch with earth feeling in my kitchen.thank u

This travesty represents just about everything that is wrong with our education system in a nut shell. And at the heart of it all – surprise, surprise – is union thuggery and bureaucratic stupidity.Why have the unions imposed such preposterous rules? And, on the other side, how much could it cost to hire a few more ‘arbiters’ – and to have them work more than five days a year?Surely it would save more than what it costs to have so many teachers sitting on their hands at $70,000 a year.Still, some might argue that we are all better off with these teachers being paid to do nothing rather than teaching what they teach, based on the results the public school system has produced. Is this the kind of efficiency we can expect if the government is put in charge of health care, like it is in charge of educating our children?

doing her job?I have lived in my apartment for
15 years.I have repeatedly asked her to fix up my home properly for the last 10 years.
All my windows need new weather stripping,I have wallpaper in my kitchen that I want removed
my kitchen floor needs to be replaced,the wallpaper in my bedroom needs to be removed.
Also my bathroom wall needs to be sanded and
painted.Also I need a new stove,my current one
has not worked in a year.The only thing that works are the heating elements on top of it.
Her constant excuse is that she doesn’t have the
funds she needs to do the work that needs to be
done in my home?
What can I do to convince her to do what has to
be done in my home just short of going to the rentalsman’s office?Please help,my patience is running out.
